This Awl is used to make small holes - its
unique shape actually cuts the fibres of the wood as you
push and twist it through the work. It will also make holes
without splitting the timber - even thin pieces can be
worked.
Made from Rosewood with a heavy turned
brass ferrule. The blade goes all the way through the handle
and is threaded into a brass insert to ensure it can never
come loose, even under heavy use.
